Old Poetry

Our World

What does our future hold?
Do we Know?
No, we do not,
But we can change the way our world is,
Dystopian,harsh, and immortal,
Slowly but surely turning to amoral,
No guides to lead us to heaven.
For we are without the great divinity,
Man lacks all which make the divine,
We are animals slowly causing our own death
Our world shall end ad you the reader with never love,
For it is fictitious.

Joy
What is it?
The portrayal of love?
Emanating happiness?
It is what we find when we love,
Laugh and have the merriest friendships.
Joy is what we can't live without,
for if it is not there,
Is there a purpose to life?

Disappointment
It is not a feeling nor a state of mind,
But something which destroys love,
And create hate,
It is merely a shell of nothingness,
Coated in a harsh feeling,
Created to destroy all emotion,
To develop in the nothingness of which it is.
